Symptoms
- Apr 17, 2015 This option on Word for mac is under the media browser option, pictures and the drop down menu only allows Photo Booth. Any help is welcome. If using Word, then I suggest you post your question on the Microsoft Mac Office forums, as its their software you're having trouble with.
- Text is not copied from the Clipboard as expected in Microsoft Office Word 2007 or Microsoft Office Word 2010. This behavior occurs in the following scenario. You configure Microsoft Office Word 2007 or 2010 to use the following default behavior when you paste items: Keep the source formatting when you paste items from the same document.

Text is not copied from the Clipboard as expected in Microsoft Office Word 2007 or Microsoft Office Word 2010. This behavior occurs in the following scenario. You configure Microsoft Office Word 2007 or 2010 to use the following default behavior when you paste items:
- Keep the source formatting when you paste items from the same document.
- Keep only the text when you paste items from another program.
You copy formatted text from a document to the Clipboard. Then, you copy this text from the clipboard and paste it to the document from which you copied this text. In this scenario, the text that you pasted to the document does not include the source formatting.
Either on my timeline, wall, newsfeed, chat, or simply also my facebook messenger on my phone, i am unable to see emoticons (smileys). I could be using google chrome or firefox, and still will have the same issue. I have uploaded images of what it looks like.
Note To view the Clipboard, click the Clipboard Dialog Box Launcher on the Home tab.
Cause
This issue occurs because the default Paste settings do not apply to the 2007 or 2010 Office Clipboard. The default Paste settings apply only when you use the Paste command or the CTRL+V keyboard shortcut.

The 2007 or 2010 Office clipboard is a unique data source. None of the default Cut, Copy, or Paste settings apply to the Clipboard.
To configure the Cut, Copy, and Paste settings in Word 2007 or 2010, follow these steps:
- Click the Microsoft Office Button, click Word Options, and then click Advanced.
- Under Cut, copy, and paste, configure the settings that you want to use as the default behavior.
Add an emoji
Find the emoji keyboard in any app that uses the standard keyboard, like Mail or Messages. To add an emoji:
- Tap the text field, then tap or .
- Use the gray icons at the bottom of the keyboard to switch emoji themes, or swipe left or right to view more. Tap to see emoji that you've recently used.
- To change the skin tone of certain emoji, tap and hold an emoji.
- Tap an emoji to add it to your text field.
Tap to replace words with emoji
The Messages app shows you words that you can replace with emoji.
- Open Messages and tap to start a new message or go to an existing conversation.
- Write your message, then tap or on your keyboard.
- Wait for the words to turn orange.
- Tap an orange word to replace it with an emoji. If there's more than one emoji you can use, the Quick Reply field shows you options to choose from.
- Tap to send.
If you want to replace the emoji with the original word, just tap the emoji.

Use Predictive emoji
Microsoft Office For Mac
With Predictive text, you can write and complete entire sentences with just a tap. As you type, you see choices for words and phrases you might type next, based on your past conversations and writing style. You also see suggestions for emoji you may want to use. To use a Predictive emoji, write your message and look for the suggested emoji in the predictive input field, then tap it to replace the word or add an emoji.
To turn off Predictive text, touch and hold or , tap Keyboard Settings, then turn off Predictive.
Don't see the emoji keyboard?
If you don't see the emoji keyboard, make sure that it's turned on.
- Go to Settings > General and tap Keyboard.
- Tap Keyboards, then tap Add New Keyboard.
- Tap Emoji.
